BTS wins 4 grand prizes at Mnet Asian Music Awards for third year

K-pop boy group BTS were the biggest winner of the night at the Mnet Asian Music Awards (Mama) on Saturday, December 11, taking home nine awards.

These include the Four Grand Prix of the Night – Song of the Year (Butter), Album of the year (TO BE), Global Icon of the Year and Artist of the Year.

This is the third consecutive year that he has won all four categories of grand prix (or daesang).

BTS was unable to attend the ceremony in Paju City in South Korea’s Gyeonggi Province due to changes in quarantine requirements after they returned from their concerts in the United States in early December.
