Biggest year-end ceremony kicks off as CJ ENM announces 2021 Mnet Asian Music Awards concept!

The Mnet Asian Music Awards, otherwise known as MOM, will return in December. The MOM is one of the most anticipated annual events in the Asian music industry, providing a memorable ceremony for artists and fans alike. CJ ENM has now revealed that this year’s event will have the concept of “MAKE SOME NOISE!”.

A new teaser video for the event features various rays of light that come together in a large spiral. The imagery represents the different global voices of fans, who unite across the world with their favorite artists through K-Pop. In this union, artists and fans become a bigger cry with their shared power.

The video generated excitement for the upcoming event with its elegant portrayal. Additionally, Lee Hyori provided his narration. The iconic artist will host this year LAM 2021, raising the general atmosphere of the ceremony.

In addition, the CJ ENM officially opened the website of the LAM 2021, sparking excitement with the message to fans: “The music we need most right now is your roar!” Online voting for K-Pop fans around the world will begin on November 4 at 6 p.m. KST. The website operates in five languages, including Korean, English and Japanese.

Fans eagerly await the announcement of artist lineups, as the Mnet Asian Music Awards delivered some of K-Pop’s most memorable group and collaboration scenes.

Meanwhile, the LAM 2021 will air to a global audience on December 11, scheduled at 4:00 p.m. KST with a red carpet event, followed by the awards show at 6:00 p.m. KST.
